Of all of the information a pilot must know, the correct airspeeds for the critical phases of flight can be one of the more difficult items to remember. This is especially hard for new pilots, or when things get busy during the approach-to-landing phase.  Or, maybe you are learning to fly a new, high-performance airplane.  Things happen quickly, and trying to stay ahead of the airplane can be a real challenge.

Did you know that you are at the highest risk for an accident during take-off and landing? AOPA reports this phase of flight as 50% of all General Aviation accidents.  In addition, the FAA Regulations require pilots to “Be familiar with all information concerning the flight.”  Our TOLD Cards do just that!How about flying clubs, which allow their members to utilize several different aircraft types? Have you ever swapped airplanes, only to forget which V-speed you should use for that particular one? It’s happened to me. As a CFI, I train in many different aircraft. Speeds can get confusing, especially if you are not as focused as you should be.



These factors are how I came to develop this TOLD card. TOLD stands for “Take Off and Landing Data”.  Never again will you have to remember your takeoff or approach speeds! Never again will you forget which airplane you’re flying! And when the chips are down, all you have to do is refer to this card, and get all the information you need to handle any situation.



And for you prospective airline pilots, you may as well get used to using them! Almost all corporate and airline operations departments use TOLD cards of one form or another. This is a very economical way to get in the good habit pattern of having all relevant data available to you concerning your flight!



Our TOLD Cards have everything you will need. From takeoff to landing roll-out, even emergencies! Let’s face it, you’ve got enough to think about when things get busy in the flight deck. You shouldn’t have to remember changing data, and NOW YOU DON’T HAVE TO!!
